SAN Group, Inc., the largest alliance of independent insurance agencies in the Northeast, recently concluded its 2024 Fall Principals Meetings. The series spanned five locations across New Hampshire, Western New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Eastern New York, drawing strong attendance and positive feedback from member agencies and industry partners alike.
This year’s events featured two distinct formats, tailored to enhance engagement and networking opportunities for attendees.
Casual Networking: The New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Western New York meetings adopted a fresh approach by hosting gatherings in local breweries. In a departure from traditional presentations, these events offered casual networking with insurance carriers, vendors, SAN personnel, and fellow agency owners. Attendees enjoyed craft beer, delicious food, and the chance to connect and collaborate in a relaxed, vibrant setting.
Formal Presentations: The Connecticut and Eastern New York meetings followed the established format, beginning with a formal presentation by SAN COO Tom Lizotte. Lizotte shared key updates on SAN and SIAA, along with the latest results and developments within the network. Following the presentation, attendees networked at carrier and vendor tables, exchanging ideas, discussing industry trends, and strengthening relationships.
Attendance at all five events increased substantially compared to previous years, a testament to the value these gatherings provide for SAN members and partners.
