SAN held six principals meetings over nine weeks across the Northeast, focusing on two key areas – partnership and engagement. Member agents had valuable face-to-face time with their peers, the SAN and SIAA team, and strategic partners.
Attended by independent agency owners belonging to the largest agency alliance in the Northeast, the agenda included presentations on insurance industry trends and an update on the state of SIAA and SAN Group from President and CEO, Matt Masiello. The regional meetings are also well-suited for networking and personal meetings with local company representatives from SAN and SIAA’s many insurance company partners.
“This is a chance for member agents to step out of the office and work on their agency for a day,” states Frank Waters, SAN COO. “In-person conversations with fellow agency owners and industry experts to get a different perspective or updates on where the industry stands today and where it’s headed for the future are invaluable. We are pleased so many member agents were able to take advantage of this opportunity.”
The events were held across SAN’s footprint in the Northeast, ranging from Portland, Maine to Buffalo, New York.
In conjunction with the Principals Meetings, SAN agreed to match, dollar-for-dollar, all donations made for the Wounded Warrior Project September through November. Attendees took advantage of this matching gift opportunity and together raised $5,470 for the veterans service organization.
