This past May, SAN Member Agency, The Insurance Source of Keene, NH, was a sponsor of the Keene Elm City Rotary Club’s Sneakers Project. Owner Cheryl Belair and agency staff helped club members (a.k.a. The Shoe Crew) deliver more than 800 pairs of New Balance sneakers to every 2nd grader in the Monadnock school system.
They also gifted socks and passes to a variety of Keene events and activities, all designed to keep kids healthy and moving every day.
Founded in 1990, the Keene Elm City Rotary Club of Keene, NH delivers brand new sneakers each year to students throughout Cheshire County as part of its Follow ME (Move Everyday) program aimed at childhood health and wellness.
Belair said, “As a whole, this project takes months of preparation from dozens of Rotarians and volunteers. I am honored to be involved, and we can’t wait for next year!”
