Frances and Douglas Soderberg, founders of Soderberg Insurance Services in Lynnfield, MA, recently presented a generous donation to Boston Rescue Mission as part of the “Feed the Homeless” food drive the agency sponsored this past fall. The donation was made of behalf of the agency’s clients and community, and was graciously received by Rev. John Saaman, President of Boston Rescue Mission.
Soderberg Insurance Services made a $5 cash donation for every insurance policy quoted October 1 ─ December 31, 2016. This was the third food drive that the family-owned agency has sponsored.
Boston Rescue Mission is a shelter dedicated to caring for people who are poor and homeless, and offering resources that prevent and end homelessness. The Mission “offers a unique community of caring and accountability so that each and every individual we serve may someday achieve some level of self-sufficiency where they are holding a job, have their own place to live and will become productive, contributing members of society.”
“Volunteerism is critical, but places like Boston Rescue Mission also need financial support,” states Kathryn Soderberg, CPCU, President of Soderberg Insurance Services. Soderberg adds “it gives us great pleasure to support this worthy charity on behalf of our clients.”
